Hooray for David

Right on, David Jenkins, good article. I remember when I was a young person I thought money grew on a tree. I think some adults still think that way. After looking at my bank statement, it isn't working out that way. Cost of living is already increasing too much. It seems like the going out is a lot more than the coming in. Anyway David, your article covered a lot of things that needed to be heard and needed to be said. Thanks.

Pro freedom or not?

I just read 8th District U.S. Representative Jason Smith's article bashing Obamacare versus our religious liberties. Jason talks about how wonderful Hobby Lobby is and it's great that they are standing up for not having to pay for any birth control pills or any other type of birth control. Well, it's kind of ironic that Hobby Lobby's retirement plan has holdings in numerous companies that manufacture specific drugs and devices that the Green family, which owns Hobby Lobby, is fighting to keep out of Hobby Lobby's healthcare policies. These companies have emergency contraceptive pills plan B, they have IUDs and they manufacture birth control pills. So Hobby Lobby, what is it? Are you supposedly pro-religious freedom and not providing healthcare for some of your employees or are you pro your pocketbook? Which is more important to you, your $73 million in mutual funds and investments in these kind of companies or just the type of stuff that you're talking about?

Points for customers

I want to tell the person that gave the rules about having a garage sale made some very good points. Now I want to give the people attending the garage sales a few points. Don't come to the garage sale with a twenty dollar bill, buy a 10 cent item and want change. Get change at the bank. Don't come into the garage sale smoking your cigarettes or cigars, stay in your car and finish it then put it in your ashtray, not in the street or my yard. If you have children, please pay attention to where they are at all times, don't let them run loose and break things. When going through the stacks of clothing that have been folded, don't throw the clothes from one side to the other. Check the stacks to see if they have been sorted by size, then try to keep the sizes together. Some of the items are new, this does not mean that I am going to give it away. If I give it away, it will be to the Salvation Army. Have a good day and hope to see you at my next garage sale.

Good cast

That handsome young man and beautiful young woman who starred in the Annie Oakley play really can sing well. I just found out that they are still in high school. I was really surprised to find that out. I really enjoyed the music and I laughed a lot. She was really funny. I hope they go far. They should. Everybody else in the play was good too.
