SIKESTON - In the business world, mergers are seen as good for business.

But for Pauletta Meeks, owner of Meeks Printing, and Mike Moll, owner of Moll Printing, they say the merger of their businesses is good for the customers.

On June 6, Meeks Printing operations officially combined to operate as Moll Printing Company.

With the sale, Pauletta Meeks announced her retirement from the business, which she and her husband, the late Danny Meeks began in 1969 with one small offset printing press. Meeks' employees, Allen Meeks, who began his printing career working along side his father, Danny, and Sherry Menz, a part of the Meeks printing family for more than two decades, have joined the staff at Moll Printing.

"From a commercial printing standpoint, Meeks customers should see very little change in their customer service," said Moll. "They will still have Sherry and Allen that they can deal with when it comes to T-shirts or printing."
