No houses for good people

I would like to know why it is that the Housing Authority will keep their houses and not let people who really, truly need them - a family, maybe someone that works, that they need help really bad. They can save them for some little gal that has one or two kids, with three bedrooms, that stays in it with the doors closed and the shades drawn all the time except at night when her boyfriend comes through. It seems to me that's the only kind of people they want to put in them, but they won't put in good, decent people that want to take care of them.

You are sadly mistaken on how the Housing Authority operates. Get more information before you make false charges.

A senseless mess

I tell you what, if our government would worry more about the important things like the veterans and things that matter like that, instead of where they are gonna grow marijuana, how many apps they have on their phone and how fat they are and what they eat, the United States wouldn't be in such a mess. We need to get rid of all those people, including the President, and get a whole new bunch, and maybe the United States could have some people that have some sense running it and get us out of the mess we are in. It may be too late now.

Heads and tails

Sports world, sports world. You know you've heard the old phrase about the goat head in Chicago. What's the problem with that? They've got a goat head up there and then Chicago sends a mule to Washington. What's the difference? At least he's got his tail in Washington, the other one didn't. Just a little baseball trivia.

For what it's worth

Has anyone ever thought about term limits for our elected county officials? When they've been there 10-15 years, they are making more money than the job is worth. No Democrat will run against them and no Republican would stand a chance in Scott County. Just wondering what your thoughts were.
