Just keeps getting better

I want to thank the Elm Street Baptist Church for their Fourth of July street party. It truly is the only place where everything is free. If you haven't been to it, you are surely missing out. They said this was their 10th year doing it. This is my fourth year to attend, and I have to say, it only keeps getting better each year. They had good gospel music by the Freeman's from Nashville, Tenn., free food and drinks, jumping houses for the kids and they had fireworks that measured up as if you were in Disney World. Thank you for providing this for everyone. God bless you all.

In it for the money

I would like to say something about the foster care program, like that story on the news where the children were hungry and they had that boy chained in a shed. Did you see the house that those people were living in? Most of them people, not all of them, some are genuinely interested in taking care of the children and providing for them, but most of them get them for the checks they get from the government, food stamps and medical stuff. They live it up and the kids don't have anything. Like I said, that's not all of them. The caseworkers should check in more often, but a lot of times they do and just turn their heads and go on. They are afraid they might have to do a little paperwork. It's just crazy. Kids suffer because people are lazy and stupid.

Read it all, sweetheart

This is in reply to God does not accept all. I don't know what you are talking about in this situation, but God accepts all people. All people are just the same, regardless if they are Christian or not. I, myself, am not a Christian. But as far as the crap you are spewing out of your mouth, I don't accept it. When I read the Bible, everything contradicts everything. There is anger, there is hate, there is evil. If anything, that God is Satan. I know what the Bible says. If you are going to tell me that homosexuality is wrong, God doesn't accept it and it's an abomination, then you need to read the other verses around that, sweetheart. The other verses around it say that eating shellfish is an abomination, wearing types of mixed clothing is an abomination, cutting your hair is an abomination, a woman speaking over a man in church is an abomination. I bet every single one of those, Christians do. And in this particular case, you too. So don't spew your trash to me.

Keep the change

I love what our country was before the change, not after the change.
