Lawrence Hollingshead, Sr.

Lawrence Eugene Hollingshead, Sr. was born March 31, 1935 in Sidon, AR. He passed away July 10, 2014 in the Portageville Nursing Home at the age of 79 years, 3 months and 27 days.

Lawrence was united in marriage to Patricia Ann Robinson on December 5, 1970 in Livermore, CA. He lived in Portageville with his wife, who survives of the home, and worked in the molding department at Plastene Supply Company.

Preceding Lawrence in death were his parents, John C. Hollingshead and Hazel M. Mays.

Those who survive Lawrence include his wife, Patricia Hollingshead of Portageville; three sons- Lawrence E. Hollingshead, Jr. of Searcy, AR, Dave C. Hollingshead of New Madrid and J. Chris Hollingshead of Manila, AR; two daughters- Barbara J. (Ron) McCall of Mountain Grove, MO and Linda Lou (Ed) Cole of Conway, AR; three brothers- Ivan (Martha) Hollingshead and Roy (Barb) Hollingshead, both of Judsonia, AR, and Lloyd H. Hollingshead of Kensett, AR; a sister, Maydabee Spradlin of Higginson, AR; 15 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

A private family service is to be held at a later date with interment at the Portageville Cemetery.
