Helping hand to our hound

I would like to thank the person who stopped and picked up our basset hound after he was hit on Malone at about 3:30 p.m. Thursday afternoon and taking him to the vet hospital. This was the first time he had ever gotten out of our backyard and we sincerely appreciate you taking the time to care for him when we weren't there.

Here's your correction

There are two errors in the Aug. 8 Helpmate speakout. The word in Romans 16:3 is because not became and the I John scripture 3 should be II John 1 and 5. I'd appreciate a correction.

You've got mail

Hello Southeast Missouri, hello America. Congratulations to Kathy Sweeney on KFVS for bringing attention to the postal service and others that are hiding something or they will not correct mistakes that certain carriers are doing by putting mail in the wrong box and not delivering correctly. Here in Miner it has been brought to the attention of the supervisor four times by me at least, and two times to the postmaster. It's been going on 10 weeks out of 14 weeks so far and it has not been corrected. You know if somebody is continuing for 10 weeks, that there is a problem. I've talked to the guy and he's smart, he's an intelligent person. Giving me somebody's cancer medicine that lives 3 or 4 houses down, another person's check went to the wrong person. It's continuous. The postmaster won't do nothing. The person in Poplar Bluff won't do nothing. I think Kathy Sweeney needs to come down here to Sikeston and see what their problem is. We are tired of losing our mail because of tolerance of ignorance. Lick a stamp and have a great day.

Need an ant heal

Help, the ants are driving me crazy on my kitchen sink, counter and cabinets. I've removed all sweet items and sprayed with ant killer. They keep returning. Need help bad!

Looking for love

Where are all of the Christians? I sit and wonder every day. I never hear from anybody and I just wonder where they are. I need to hear from God's people. I'm homebound right now and I never hear from my Christian brothers and sisters. It makes me wonder if they can't stand me how can God stand me. God can't love me if they can't love me.
