No protection

Hello SpeakOut, I would like to comment on the picture in your fine newspaper on Monday the 8th of September. The picture in question is of an Advance construction company on top of the roof of an M Kay Supply Company in Benton. As a union member in the construction trade, I would be fired if I worked as unsafe as these workers. No hard hats, no safety glasses, and the worst part, no fall protection. They must've been at least 30 feet off the ground with no fall protection. Maybe someone from the state government should contact OSHA for the sake of these workers and the businesses that they work for. I will be amused if this gets printed because I know how your paper feels about unions.

No handicap access

There is a restaurant in downtown Sikeston that has no handicap access to the premises. Customers have even fallen off the step leading to the door. Is this legal?

Blood is too much

This is in response to "Don't spare the rod." When it draws blood, it's too much.
