The works

The city manager at East Prairie better watch out. Looks like the city of Sikeston is going to get some of his free MoDOT money. You could look at the streets in East Prairie that are being worked on and tell who owns property own them.

In the zone

I was concerned about the school zone issue, the new apartments built by Walmart. If that pertains to them children that's in that school zone to go to New Madrid school, why does it not pertain to all the kids south of Murray Lane? That is New Madrid zone too. Just food for thought because I don't think it's fair for the ones that moved into those apartments to have to have their kids ride 20 minutes out to New Madrid when the rest of the kids go to Sikeston schools.

Roads are in a rut

I'm calling about Missouri roads. I know these big trucks have got to go, but let's talk about these big farm trucks too. They have ruined our backroads here in Mississippi County. Mississippi County has the worst roads in the state or the United States. I've been in most of them. Why in the world doesn't Mississippi County get on the ball and do something? Over here in Illinois, take a Sunday drive and go into Kentucky and look at their roads. Kentucky is one of the poorest states in the Union and their roads are better than ours. It's pitiful. We need somebody to take care of the roads.
