Nice church

I was just wondering about the little church up there at Grant City. It looks like a nice church from outside, I don't know how good it is on the inside. I'd just like to know about it. It looks like it's empty. I don't know if they're gonna tear it down or what. There could be a lot of good preaching if that church had a preacher.

Know how to hold 'em

Can the Standard Democrat talk to the Department of Revenue people and find out why these people that have these illegal gambling machines don't have to pay taxes on them? That's not right. If that's the case, I'm gonna just get a building and put all these machines in it and collect all the money. Find out how they are getting this illegal money and not paying taxes.

Lest ye be judged

I always understood that a pastor was supposed to be a leader in the community. What is this world coming to when a pastor passes judgment on one of its church members?
