Some teachers participated as well, including a high-energy rendition of "12 Days of Christmas" performed by Megan Williams, Stephanie Grimes and Anne Willis.

Winners of the Christmas Talent Show were: first place, McKayla Phillips (vocal solo); second place, Emillionna Kimble and Keona O'Neal (vocal duet); third place, CMS Drumline (Latrell Scott, Lane Moody, Teijay Williams and Jamar Sharp) (percussion quartet).

The event was organized by CMS music teacher Tim McClard with coach Kevin Williams as emcee.
