Area residents warned of scam

SIKESTON -- Phone scam artists are at it again.

This week multiple residents have reported to Sikeston Department of Public Safety of a phone scam by a caller claiming to be with the U.S. Department of Treasury and stating that the person on the other line has received a tax-free grant.
