More Charter chicanery?

I will certainly speak clearly on this Speakout. We just received our March Charter cable bill. As usual, we only have a few days to pay or a $5 late charge. Not 30 days. We were shocked to see in that new section of the bill, which few read, that the April billing, SURPRISE! we are now going to be charged $6.99 more for each, repeat each, digital cable box in our home. For us that is $14 more a month. When our two digital boxes which were installed last fall, the installer made no mention or communication of this happening. If your newspaper should feel compelled do an investigative story on this issue. Of course, Charter will pass the buck. Also will Charter's franchise fee, paid to the town of Sikeston, increased? Yes. Do you have Dish TV or Direct TV's telephone numbers? Finally, please headline this Speakout: More Charter chicanery?

Your article "Two-parent family is key to success" on Saturday, March 21, 2015, by Michael Jensen is extremely offensive to all single mothers out there. His absolutist rant is very demeaning and short sighted for a man of his age. I suggest you encourage him to pursue an education on any subject BEFORE he writes about it. There is no doubt as to why your paper is failing.
