Top two Mustang grads

Kristen Phillips, Valedictorian

The top two students of the North Pemiscot graduating Class of 2015 are Kristen Phillips and Anna Raymond. Commencement exercises will be held Saturday, May 16 in the Ross Gymnasium, beginning at 4 PM.

Phillips is the 2015 North Pemiscot High School Valedictorian. She is the eighteen year old granddaughter of Linda and Dennis Phillips of Hayti. She participates in FBLA, Student Council, Beta Club, Art Club, and Yearbook as the editor. Her future plans include attending SEMO where she will major in education and later become a math teacher.

Raymond is the 2015 North Pemiscot High School Salutatorian. She is the eighteen-year-old daughter of Melissa Raymond, and the granddaughter of the late Geraldine Swims and the late Elmer Swims. She is the President of Beta Club, the Vice President of FBLA, the Business Manager of Yearbook, a member of Student Council, and Trio. She plans on attending Arkansas Northeastern College before transferring to acquire her bachelor's degree in English.
