Who is responsible for the animals at my home? I am raising pit bulls and breeding pit bulls. Is the homeowner's insurance responsible?

Certain breeds of animals are pre-classified, and pit bulls are in that category. The insurance agency we talked to said they did not have any companies that would insure pit bulls. However, they advised to call and consult with different agencies because each company is different.

God invented slavery

If you want to complain about slavery, complain to God. He is the one who invented it. Read your Bible. When people began to act like animals, He allowed them to be treated as such, and we have plenty in this country shooting and looting, and that isn't all.

Remember Golden Rule

It is a shame that the matter of entering onto I-55 from any entrance ramp is even an issue. Courteous drivers help each other and don't act as if they are the only people on the road and no one else matters. I'm sure many accidents would never happen if people watched out for others, as well as themselves. Most of us probably need someone to cut us a little slack sometimes. Remember the Golden Rule: "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you. Wishing you all safety on the road."

Good sense and courtesy

I'd like to weigh in on the conversation about who has the right-of-way entering the interstate. One person says traffic coming on should yield and one says the other. How about some commonsense and some common courtesy? If you are driving down the interstate and see a car coming down the ramp, pull over and let them merge into traffic. That's commonsense. Same way when you are driving in town on a four-lane street, instead of driving on the inside lane and driving 35 mph when the limit is 40 mph and holding up traffic behind you, pull over to the right-hand lane. Why can't people use a little bit of judgment and commonsense?

Life in the fast lane

To the person that cannot merge at Scott City. Once again, you just do not want to understand. I do not have to move over for you to merge. It is your responsibility to merge properly. You sound like the idiots who are trying to merge like its your God-given right to take my driving lane from me. Use your brain, watch traffic and use the appropriate speed and timing to merge into traffic.

Let the Deere go by

These people are all griping about the farmers that are knocking over their mailboxes. Well they wouldn't knock over their mailboxes if these idiots that were meeting the tractors, they know that the tractors have wide equipment, if they would pay attention and notice when the tractors are at a mailbox or a power pole, if they would stop till the tractor got by, they wouldn't knock over mailboxes. It's the people they are meeting that cause them to do that. It's either knock over a mailbox or hit some dumb driver. I guess it's better to knock over a mailbox. The next time you see some wide equipment on the road and they are close to a mailbox or a road sign, stop and wait till they get by.
