Dog watcher

If anyone wants to know how to judge a person, they should observe how they behave with animals, any animal they have any kind of responsibility for or authority over. If you observe someone doing something surprising and unexpected with an animal that's cruel, or striking an animal, beware. This is not a good sign for a person at all.

Miner, marriage and Trump

When I got my Sunday paper, I was very disturbed. I normally do not call in about anything concerning Miner, but I am tonight. I'm calling about the Miner agenda. They need to leave the Miner mayor alone. The No. 1 thing I'd like to say is that if anyone needs to be removed, it's the board of aldermen, not the mayor. They are the problem, not the mayor. The board of aldermen need to be removed. The other thing I'd like to say, I agree with the person that called in and said they were not happy about gay marriage. God is against gay marriage. A man and woman are supposed to be married and not man and man or woman and woman. It should be only the way God planned it. This woman in Kentucky, I believe in her, I stand with her and I have prayed for her. I will continue to pray for her. God bless her for what she's standing against. The other thing, anybody that is against Donald Trump, yes, I was against what he did to Megyn Kelly. I do believe that he apologized, and if he didn't I believe he owes an apology. Donald Trump knows what he's talking about and I believe he's on his way to being president. He is not a dumb man, he is a smart man. The USA does matter.

Fire Kentucky clerk

Why can't the woman in Kentucky that won't issue gay marriage licenses be fired? She gets paid $80,000 a year to do that job for the state. Why can't she be fired? When I worked, if I told my boss I wouldn't do something, I would've been fired and I sure didn't make $80,000 a year!

She is an elected official. She would have to be impeached by the state legislature. Not even the governor could fire Davis on his own. She could resign her position, but apparently does not want to do that.
