College rankings

I would like to ask your sports editor a question or two. When and if you decide to, are you going to start publishing the weekly men's major college basketball rankings and the weekly women's college basketball rankings. Can you give us some idea when and if you plan to do that? We are growing a little weary of all the high school basketball coverage and would like a little college coverage.

High school sports are what drives our section. It's always the No. 1 priority when it comes to filling the sports pages. Having said that, I have no problem adding the college rankings and you can look forward to seeing them from now on. But, please understand that if space becomes an issue -- and a lot of times it does -- the scoreboard will be cut to fit accordingly.
