Miner Board of Aldermen meeting cancelled

MINER -- The Miner Board of Aldermen's regular monthly meeting Tuesday was cancelled due to a lack of a quorum.

Mayor Darren Chapman said he was at the Board's meeting room Tuesday to let those who did show up know there wouldn't be a meeting but had been advised Betty Barnes, Deloris Smith and Janet Williams, board members, would not attend due to the possibility of bad winter weather.

Chapman did not have a tentative date the meeting would be rescheduled to as of press time.
