Crawford crowned Mustang Homecoming Queen
Out of the six homecoming queen candidates, Hannah Crawford was crowned as the 2016 North Pemiscot Homecoming Queen last Friday. Her escort was Ethan Elsworth.
The ceremony took place in the Ross gymnasium in between the junior varsity and varsity basketball games. The Master of Ceremony was Dr. Jason Ward
The evening began with Hailey McGowan singing the "Star Spangled Banner" followed by crown bearers Kelsie Sutton and Tyler Tallant bringing in the flowers and crown.
The Freshman Maid and escort were Brianna James and David Lawson. The Sophomore Maid and escort were Hailey McGowan and Dawson Treat.
The first Junior Queen Maid and her escort were Shania Hardin and Deon Pickens. The second Junior Queen Maid and escort were Brailynn Hunter and Keegan Brown.
The first Senior Queen Maid and her escort were Hannah Crawford and Ethan Elsworth, followed by the second Senior Queen Maid Demi Thompson and Austin Treat.
Prior to the crowning of the queen, the 2015 Homecoming Queen was recognized, Hannah Hampton.

There were candles burning in loving memory of two dedicated fans who recently passed, Mr. David "Paw" Thorton and Ms. Shawn Crawford Wagley '98.
