Tuesday, March 22, 2016

PADUCAH, Ky. - The National Weather Service in Paducah has issued a wind advisory which is in effect from 11 a.m. today until 7 p.m. for Southeast Missouri.

South to southwest winds of 20 to 35 miles per hour with guests to 45 miles per hour are expected.

"Unsecured outdoor objects may be blown around, some tree limbs may come down," forecasters advised. "This can sometimes cause brief power outages."

Also the winds can make driving more difficult for high profile vehicles.

With the winds in combination with the low afternoon relative humidity and somewhat dry vegetation, officials advised it will make it dangerous to do any outdoor burning from late morning through the afternoon.
