Immaculate Conception Church to hold fundraiser

Immaculate Conception Catholic Church and School in New Madrid will be celebrating their Annual Riverfest Fundraiser. Monies raised will benefit the operation of the Catholic School for the coming school year. The celebration will kick off with an outdoor showing of "The Princess Bride" on the big screen Friday, May 6th, $5 per person, refreshments are free. Bring your own folding chairs or blankets. Movie begins at sundown approximately 7:55 p.m.

Riverfest begins on Saturday, May 7, 2016 at noon. The festivities will be held at the Catholic school grounds at the corner of Scott and Powell streets in New Madrid. This year the BBQ plates will include a BBQ sandwich, chips, baked beans and coleslaw. Chicken halves and Boston Butts will be available for sale on Saturday while supply lasts. Hot dogs will also be available for our younger diners. In case of rain the festivities will be moved indoors.
