Ratty old house

This is to the mayor of Morehouse. Sir, I know you are busy and I know you have got your hands full over there. But there's an old house that is down there on Boone Street that is halfway falling down, with one half standing up. I swear there are rats that are coming out of that mess. It needs to be cleaned up. Help!

Cotton country

I'm calling about all the new signs and all the money they cost. I'm reading that that comes from a special tax for tourism. I guess good streets don't promote tourism. Thank God they got enough money that they've got the God Almighty cotton plant on it again so we can worship the cotton plant. Everybody acts like we're a bunch of sharecroppers around here anymore.

Rock bottom

Is there anyone around the Sikeston area that works on rocking chairs, where the screws go in the bottom? A metal piece is broken on the bottom side and I need someone to work on it.
