Speakout

Good luck getting it done

I'd like to speakout on "Junkyard of the year," in SpeakOut. Good luck getting anything done with this lady. If they do, tell them to come out here to Miner to houses on Gilmore, HH Highway and all junk cars around the main intersection. Tell them if they can get her to clean it up, to just come on out here and help us.

No take backs

I remember my mother telling me that if I couldn't say something nice to keep my mouth shut. If this were true, we wouldn't have any debates for the presidential nomination. Once said, words cannot be taken back. Sorry doesn't mean anything if you keep repeating the same mistake over and over. I think we are in a heap of trouble.

Sending wrong signal

For once, just once, I'd like to enter a place of business without seeing people with their heads down texting on a cellphone. What happened to greeting the customer with a smile? Now all you see is the top of their heads. Those phones should be for personal use, not in a place of business.

Wonderful article, Mike

Michael Jensen, I loved the article in Wednesday's May 11 paper on social engineering. It was wonderful.
