Dorothy Jane Sadler

Dorothy Jane Sadler passed away Sunday, August 7, 2016 at her home in Portageville at the age of 82. She was born April 9, 1934 in Hayward to John Elice and Ila (Hall) Brasher.

Dorothy was united in marriage to Tom Sadler on May 19, 1956 in Greenfield, KY, and from this union two boys and one girl were born. She loved to read books. Dorothy was a retired teacher and had taught for over 30 years.

Preceding her in death were her parents, John and Ila, and two brothers, one in infancy, Kenneth and Doyle Brasher.

Surviving to cherish Dorothy's memory are her husband, Tom Sadler of the home; two sons, Thomas J. (Esther) Sadler of Lilbourn, and Shane Sadler of Cape Girardeau; one daughter, Angela (Larry) Hill of Portageville; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Visitation for Dorothy was Monday, August 8, and her funeral was Tuesday, August 9 at DeLisle Funeral Home. Interment followed at Portageville Cemetery.
