Sikeston girls soccer has eight named to all-district team

The Sikeston girls soccer team had eight players named to the Class 3, District 1 all-district team. Six players made the 16-member first team and two made honorable mention.

Kayla Curry, Kayla Graham, Emma Jones, Larysa McClellon, Madeline Witt and Mackenzie Yant all made the first team. Annie Ensor and Lyndsey McClendon each made honorable mention.

The Cape Central won the district after the third-seeded Tigers took down No. 1 Sikeston 2-1 in penalty kicks.
