Portageville Fire Report

The Portageville Fire Department had three incidents to report over the last two days

— On October 6th at 1pm, the fire department responded to State Highway YY to a tractor on fire. The department was extinguished and the tractor was considered a complete loss.

— On October 7th at 12:24pm, the fire department responded to State Highway M for multiple cotton modules on fire. The department was able to assist the farmer in keeping the fire off of modules that were unharmed while they were removed.

—On October 7th at 4:05pm the fire department responded to Sunset Ave for a vehicle fire. Once on scene the fire was extinguished, every vehicle is considered a total loss.
