Card shower planned for twin sisters 85th birthdays

DEXTER, Mo. -- Twin sisters, Irene "Sitter" Jordan of Grayridge and Ilene Worth of Essex, will celebrate their 85th birthdays on April 8.

Jordan was married to the late Rev. Henry Jordan and Worth was married to the late Rev. W. H. Worth who both pastored a number of General Baptist churches in the Dexter and surrounding areas. Jordan retired after years of work at the Sikeston Regional Center. Worth worked at the Monsanto Fertilizer Plant and cotton gin at Hunterville and retired from Malone and Hyde at Sikeston.
