SIKESTON -- Courtney Michelle Nailling and Raymond George "Trey" Glaus were united in marriage during a 1 p.m. ceremony Oct. 15, 2016, at St. Francis Xavier Church in Sikeston. The Rev. Patrick Ike Nwokoye officiated the double-ring ceremony. The bride is the daughter of Terry and Trish Nailling of Sikeston. She is the granddaughter of James and Carolyn Nailling of Paragould, Ark., and the late Deloy and Willie Hill. The groom is the son of Trace and Jane Glaus of Sikeston. He is the grandson of Linda Glaus of Sikeston, Pat Fetsch of Sikeston and the late Sonny Glaus and Joe Fetsch. Music for the ceremony was provided by pianist Shiron Fonseka and vocalist Anna Essner. Scriptural readings were given by Nathan Eftink of Oran. Drew Barber was server. Teresa Templeton and Kim St. Cin served as program attendants. Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore an ivory strapless gown by Allure featuring lace, pearls and beading with a sweetheart neckline and chapel-length train. She wore a cascading fingertip-length wedding veil of illusion with folded ribbon edge. The bride's bouquet was a hand-gathered styling of Vendela roses and Italian ruscus. Bridesmaids carried ivory spray roses and freesia bouquets. Calla lily and peony alter arrangements along with alstromeria pew bouquets decorated the church. Nicole Barney, sister of the bride, served as matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Stephanie Pinkerton, Brittany Fayette and Lauren Davis of Sikeston and Amber Karr of Springdale, Ark. Berlin Barney and Brittyn Barney, nieces of the bridge, served as junior bridesmaids. The flower girl was Claire Pinkerton, cousin and goddaughter of the groom. Wesley Glaus, brother of the groom, served as best man. Groomsmen were Justin Littleton and John Tomaszewski of Sikeston, Eric Rinehart of Dexter and Shane Menz of Chaffee. Kyll Nailling, nephew of the bride, served as junior groomsman. The ring bearer was Kellan Barney, nephew of the bride. Ushers were Michael Glaus of Sikeston and Joe Fetsch of Osceola, Ark., uncles of the groom. The reception was held at the National Guard Armory. The tables were decorated with lanterns with flower and foliage clusters, hydrangea and lemon leaf bouquets, and tall pilsner vases filled with white gladiolas, Italian ruscus, cramone, magnolia leaves and curly willow branches. Ginger Miller of Sikeston designed the floral arrangements. The four-tier wedding cake was made by Tammy Turner of Dexter. Music was provided by SkyJammer. A rehearsal dinner was hosted by the groom's parents on Oct. 14 at the Riverhouse Winery in Scott City. A bridal shower was given July 16 at the home of Stephanie Pinkerton in Sikeston. The shower was hosted by Stephanie Pinkerton, Sue Aldrich, Tricia Aldrich, Mary Fetsch, Susan Fetsch, Kim St. Cin and Laurie Littleton. On Aug. 20, a bridal shower was given at the home of Karen Ferrell. The shower was hosted by Karen Ferrell and Emma Ferrell. The couple will celebrate with a honeymoon trip to Cancun, Mexico. The new Mr. and Mrs. Glaus are making their home in Sikeston.
