Joseph Priggel

PORTAGEVILLE, Mo. -- Joseph Paul Priggel, 77, died March 3, 2018, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

Born Jan. 28, 1941, in Portageville, son of the late Jane Brands Priggel and Paul Vincent Priggel, he was a member of St. Eustachius Catholic Church.

On Sept. 11, 1963, in Duluth, Minn., he married Mary Lou Ferrin, who survives of the home in Portageville.

In addition to his wife, survivors include: two sons and a daughter-in-law, Joey and Heather Priggel of Portageville and Shawn Priggel of Durham, N.C.; four daughters and sons-in-law, Kelly and Michael McHale of Quincy, Ill., Tricia and Kevin Rone of Portageville, Katy and Daryl Cunningham of Camdenton and Teresa and Nick Brandon of Cape Girardeau; one sister, Dorothy Riley of New Madrid; and 15 grandchildren.

Visitation is from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday at DeLisle Funeral Home, where a prayer service will be at 9 a.m. Tuesday followed by services at 10 a.m. at St. Eustachius Catholic Church in Portageville.

Burial will follow in the Portageville Cemetery.
