Mamie Patterson

O'FALLON, Mo. -- Mamie Maranda Farr Patterson, 95, died Jan. 15, 2017, at her home.

Born Sept. 25, 1921, in Marion County, Ala., she was the daughter of the late Daniel Alonzo and Sally Vine Farr and a member of First Assembly of God in Sikeston.

On Sept. 27, 1937, she married Charles Kindred Patterson, and he preceded her in death on Jan. 21, 1998.

She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Charles Lanzo and Pat Patterson of Granite City, Ill., and Hershel and Nora Patterson of Old Mines; one daughter and son-in-law, Phyllis and Ray Sitz of O'Fallon; 11 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and eight great-great grandchildren.

Visitation is from 11 a.m. until time of service at 1 p.m. Thursday at Ponder Funeral Home. The Rev. Charles K. Patterson II, pastor of First Assembly of God in LeRoy, Kan., will officiate.

Burial will follow in the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield.
