Miles, Grimes named SHS/SPS Foundation Students of the Month for November

SIKESTON -- Allison Jo Miles and Emma Grimes were named Sikeston High School Students of the Month for November.

Sikeston Public Schools Foundation, which sponsors the monthly program, names two seniors each month for the honor during the 2017-2018 school year.

Miles is the daughter of Jeff and Norma Miles. She is active as Red Pepper secretary, Key Club president, National Honor Society service project coordinator, yearbook editor and senior class treasurer. She's also a member of DECA, Model UN, Student Council and the golf team.

Grimes, who is the daughter of Sabrina and Mark Grimes, is a LEDA scholar and member of the Key Club, Foreign Language Club, Speech and Debate, Drama Club, Link Crew, National Honor Society and Model UN. She's also a mentor/tutor for transfer international students. Her hobbies include photography, cello and reading.
