Missouri Realtors converge in Jefferson City for 37th Annual Capitol Conference
JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. -- Nearly 400 realtors from across the state gathered in Jefferson City on Jan. 18 for Missouri Realtors 37th annual Capitol Conference. This conference provided realtors the opportunity to meet with their elected officials to discuss emerging issues of importance to the real estate industry.
The day began with a first-time attendee training, where over 100 Missouri realtor members were present. All conference attendees then participated in a lunch briefing where they prepared for their visit to the Capitol. Attendees spent the afternoon visiting the state's Capitol, meeting with their respective legislators. The day concluded with a reception at the Capitol Plaza Hotel where all state representatives and senators were welcome.
The Missouri Realtor Party, the Advocacy arm of Missouri Realtors, is the voice for real estate in Missouri, working to protect realtors, their business and the American Dream of homeownership. The goal of the Missouri Realtor Party is to encourage property ownership, support small business and foster a vibrant real estate sector. The Capitol Conference is one way for Missouri Realtors to make their voice heard and make a positive impact on the real estate industry in Missouri.
