John Hatchett
SIKESTON — John T. Hatchett, 58, died May 12, 2018, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.
Born Dec. 30, 1959, in Tunica, Miss., son of the late Acie Dixon and Jewell Hatchett Dixon. he worked for Rex Lambert for many years doing farm work. He also trained dogs and horses and was of the Baptist belief.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Brenda Blackmon-Hatchett; two sisters, Lillian Gross and Bobbie Ann Hatchett; one brother, Joelee Hatchett.
Survivors include: four sons, Olando Sheron, Johnathan Blackmon, Jason Sheron and Janeil Hatchett of Sikeston; six daughters, Sheena Blackmon, Brittanie Wilson, Tameka Sheron, Johnisha Sheron, Sam Jones of Sikeston and Barbara Hobbs of Kansas City; four brothers, Terry Hatchett of Tolleson, Ariz., Frank Hayes and Acie Dixon Jr. of Sikeston and Jerome Beasley of Blytheville, Ark.; four sisters, Wanda Dixox, Vanda Dixon, Vivian Dixon, Willie Mae Taylor of Sikeston; and 19 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Visitation is from 11 a.m. until service time at noon Saturday at the Green Memorial Church of God in Christ in Sikeston with Bishop Calvin Bird officiating.
Burial will follow at the New Morning Star Cemetery at Haywood City.
Driver Funeral Service of Sikeston is in charge of arrangements.
