SIKESTON — David Louis Walton, 50, died July 10, 2018, at the Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston, Mo.

Born Dec. 3, 1967, in Chaffee, Mo., to the late Eddie and Willie Etta Walton, he was a graduate of Sikeston High School. After graduation, he was employed at Lambert’s Cafe in Sikeston before going on to work at Noranda Aluminum where he was employed for over 20 years before retiring. He attended Bowman St. Church of Christ in Sikeston.
 
Survivors include: his wife of 19 years, Alberta (Gates) Walton;  three children, Jackie Pratcher Jr., Aaliyah Mosby and David Walton II all of the home; five sisters, Wilma (Phil) Ward of Florrisant, Mo., JoAnn (James) Blue of Cape Girardeau, Mo.,  Marie Walton of Sikeston, Louise McGee of Cape Girardeau, Mo. and Diane Walton of St. Louis, Mo.;  three brothers; Lonnie (Stella) Walton of St. Charles, Mo., Eddie (Betty) Walton Jr. of Chicago, Ill. and Vernell Walton of St. Louis, Mo.;  five sister-in-laws; Lavoris Taylor, Betty Gates, Celoris Gates, Naomi Gates and Lula Wilson; two brother-in-laws, James Gates and Anthony Gates; seven grandchildren, one uncle, many aunts, neices, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Shady Acres Church of Christ until services at noon. Burial will follow at the Memorial Park Cemetery in Sikeston,.
