Chuck Faries

KINGSPORT, Tenn. — Charles “Chuck” Faries, 93, died Sept. 30, 2018, at Asbury Baysmont.

Born in Tallapoosa, Mo, son of the late John Harvey and Gracie Underwood Faries, he was raised in Portageville, Mo. He was a member of Colonial Heights Presbyterian Church.

His wife, Jean Faries survives of the home.

Other survivors include: one son, John and wife Janet; one daughter, Jill and husband Rob; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Visitation is from 1 p.m. until service time at 2 p.m. Sunday at Colonial Heights Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Shane Smith officiating.

Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Homes of Kingsport is in charge of arrangements.
