Troop E gets three new troopers
POPLAR BLUFF, Mo. — Captain Jeffrey N. Vitale, commanding officer of Troop E, Poplar Bluff, has announced the assignment of three new troopers to Troop E. The new troopers were members of the Missouri State Highway Patrol’s 106th Recruit Class that graduated from the Patrol Academy on Dec. 21.
• Trooper David A. “Andy” Beck, of Scott City, Mo., has been assigned to Zone 7, which serves the citizens of Mississippi, New Madrid, and Scott counties. Beck is a graduate of Scott City High School and holds a Bachelor of Science in education from Southeast Missouri State University in Cape Girardeau. Beck’s field training officer will be Corporal Jim C. Cooksey.
• Trooper Garrett L. Hendrix, of Polar Bluff, Mo., has been assigned to Zone 2, which serves the citizens of Butler and Ripley counties. Hendrix is a graduate of Poplar Bluff High School and holds a Bachelor of Science in fire science from Kaplan University in Cedar Falls, Iowa. Hendrix’s field training officer will be Trooper Kyle L. Huggins.
• Trooper Caleb M. Morgan, of Piedmont, Mo., has been assigned to Zone 1, which serves the citizens of Butler and Ripley counties. Morgan is a graduate of Clearwater High School in Piedmont. Morgan’s field training officer will Corporal John J. West.
