Taking the oath

With the new year, the recently re-elected New Madrid County officials were sworn into office Wednesday morning. Pictured taking the oath of office. from left are: Andrew Lawson, prosecuting attorney; Joshua Underwood, associate judge; Kim St. Mary Hall, county recorder, Dewayne Nowlin, collector; and Steve Riley, treasurer; being sworn into office by County Clerk Clement Cravens. Cravens, who was also re-elected in November, was sworn in by Underwood. Also re-elected in November was Marsha Meatte Holiman, circuit clerk, who will be sworn in at a later date, Cravens said.
