Jennifer Midgett
SIKESTON — Jennifer Ann Midgett, 42, died Jan. 15, 2019, at her home.
Born July 21, 1976, in Humboldt, Tenn., daughter of Robert Midgett of Humboldt and Janice Mays Midgett of Sikeston, she attended New Madrid Public Schools in New Madrid and worked in various occupations. She was a former member of Friendship Church of God in Christ in Howardville.
In addition to her parents, survivors include George White of New Madrid, who helped raise her; four sons, Carlos Phillips Jr., Malachi Preston, Jamarion Anderson and Tyrell Anderson of Sikeston; three daughters, Catashia Phillips, Ciara Phillips and Janiya Anderson of Sikeston; one brother, Robert James Junior Midgett of Dexter; three sisters, Maria Gray of Dyersburg, Tenn., Lisa Pledge of Humboldt and Morine Midgett of Alamo, Tenn.; three grandchildren, Tatyana Meadows, Tre Meadows Jr. and Taraji Meadows of Sikeston.
Visitation is from 11 a.m. until service time at 1 p.m. Friday at Mount Olive Missionary Baptist Church in New Madrid with Isaac Cooper, minister, officiating.
Burial will follow in Sand Hill Cemetery at New Madrid with the Williams Funeral Home of Sikeston in charge of arrangements.
