MRV Banks hires Jeremy Schlosser as Sikeston market president
SIKESTON — MRV Banks has announced that Jeremy Schlosser has been hired as Sikeston market president. Schlosser has over 10 years of experience in the financial industry and will be responsible for managing the bank’s commercial and agricultural relationships in addition to overseeing operations for the Sikeston branch.
“Jeremy has a great background in credit and financial services, and he also possesses strong leadership and communication skills,” said MRV Banks President and CEO Doug Watson. “He also shares our banks’ values of prioritizing customer service and building relationships. We’re excited to see him lead our Sikeston branch.”
Schlosser previously worked for six years as a credit analyst at U.S. Bank in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. He developed credit analyses, monitored credit policy compliances and worked on credit approvals. In addition, Schlosser works as a rental property manager in Cape Girardeau while handling marketing and building maintenance roles. Schlosser also has previous experience as a loss mitigation specialist, loan processor and credit underwriter at CitiMortgage in O’Fallon, Missouri.
Schlosser graduated from Lindenwood University with a bachelor of arts in business administration and a bachelor of arts in human resource management. He graduated in 2008 and was a member of the men’s basketball team and dean’s list designee.

Recruiters Websites adds two to run new marketing division
CAPE GIRARDEAU, Missouri – Recruiters Websites, a local web design and development company, has expanded its marketing services with the addition of Emily Blattel, marketing manager and Sarah Shanahan, social media coordinator. Blattel has more than 15 years of marketing, public relations and corporate branding experience. Blattel earned a Master of Arts in strategic communication from the University of Memphis and a bachelor’s degree in mass communication with an emphasis in public relations from Southeast Missouri State University. She is a graduate of Leadership Cape Girardeau and Leadership Jackson and serves on the professional advisory council for Southeast Missouri State University’s Department of Mass Media. She is a member of the Public Relations Society of America and past president of Tri-State Advertising and Marketing Professionals.
Shanahan has more than five years of experience in public relations, marketing and social media management, as a publicist at Acclaim Press and communications coordinator at Saint Francis Healthcare System. Shanahan obtained her bachelor’s degree in mass communication with an emphasis in public relations from Southeast Missouri State University.
She is very involved in her church, Connection Point in Jackson, where she volunteers with the children’s ministry.
