CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. — Katherine F. Mann, 89, of Cape Girardeau died Tuesday, Feb. 19, 2019, at her home.

Born Dec. 27, 1929, in Lawrenceburg, Tenn., to Harrison Henson and Pearl Fowler, she was a Saint Louis Cardinals and Blues fan and an avid reader. She was a member of St. Andrew Lutheran Church.

On April 7, 1951, in Piggott, Ark., she married Henry F. Mann, who preceded her in death on Feb. 11, 2005.

Survivors include: her one daughter, Anna (Nick) Powers of Tierra Verde, Fla.; one son, Jackie (Jane Bridges) Mann of Sunset Hills, Missouri; two sisters, Shirley Patterson of New Madrid and Betty (Arlin) Sweet of New Madrid; two grandchildren, Sara (Justin) Richardson of Moscow Mills and Justin (Julie) Mann of Arnold; four great-grandchildren, Brett and Logan Richardson and Nathaniel and Gabriel Mann; many beloved nieces and nephews including, Lisa (Charles) Brown of Jackson and Brenda Fuller of New Madrid; and her beloved pug, Odie.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and one sister, Mae Hartmann.

Visitation will be 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 21, 2019, at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Chapel in Cape Girardeau.

Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Friday, Feb. 22, 2019, at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Chapel in Cape Girardeau with the Rev. Weston Wildauer officiating.

Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery at New Madrid.

Ford and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
