The SkillsUSA “Stayin Alive” team from the New Madrid Technical Skills Center demonstrated CPR for their classmates on Feb. 1, which was also Wear Red Day, to celebrate Heart Health Awareness month. The students demonstrated the dos and don’ts of CPR for adults, children and infants. The students reviewed with other high school students the different types of an AED and how to properly use one in case of emergency. The students are also preparing a board to take around town to help educate others in the community.
