Area students earn scholarships to attend Southeast Missouri State University

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. — The following students have been awarded scholarships to attend Southeast Missouri State University for the 2019-2020 academic year:

Savannah Gourley of Dexter has received the Copper Dome Scholarship and Residence Life Leadership Award. Gourley is the daughter of Wendy Ray of Dexter. She will be a 2019 graduate of Dexter High School.

Kiara Cato of Puxico has received the Copper Dome Scholarship, Residence Life Leadership Award, Academic Support Center Merit Award and Academic Support Center Textbook Award. Cato is the daughter of Robert and Cristina Cato of Puxico. She will be a 2019 graduate of Zalma High School.

Kelli Dukes of Sikeston has received the Copper Dome Scholarship and Residence Life Leadership Award. Dukes is the daughter of Randy and Michelle Dukes of Sikeston. She will be a 2019 graduate of Sikeston High School.

Nick Wirz of Puxico has received the Copper Dome Scholarship and Residence Life Leadership Award. Wirz is the son of Rick and Brandy Wirz of Dexter, Missouri, and Kathy Wirz of Puxico. He will be a 2019 graduate of Puxico High School.
