Karr named assistant VP, agricultural lender at Alliance Bank

SIKESTON — Kyle Karr has been named the assistant vice president and agricultural lender according to Sikeston Community Bank President of Alliance Bank Michael Pobst.

“We are very excited to add Kyle to our lending team for the Southeast Missouri area,” Pobst said. “He brings with him, not only the experience and knowledge of agricultural lending, but the ability to understand the challenges facing the farming community.”

Karr is a graduate of the University of Arkansas with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in agricultural economics. He has four years of banking experience, most recently with Regions Bank as their agricultural lender for Southeast Missouri, Western Kentucky and Southwest Illinois. He has also worked for Farm Credit in their crop insurance department and spent two years lending in Arkansas with Farm Credit.

Karr and his wife, Amber, reside in Sikeston with their two children, Maggie and Maxwell.

Alliance Bank is a $240 million banking institution with locations in Sikeston, Oran, Jackson and Cape Girardeau. It is locally owned and operated, servicing all of Southeast Missouri and Southern Illinois.
