Andrew James

SIKESTON — Andrew Dale James, 77, died March 27, 2019, at Clearview Nursing Center in Sikeston.

Born March 10, 1942, in Sikeston, son of the late Pearl James and Virnia Helen Holmes James, he was a member of Trinity Gospel Church for 20 years and had worked as a security guard at Riceland in Marston before retiring.

He is survived by one sister and brother-in-law, Loretta and Charles Ditto of Chaffee; one niece, Marla Michelle Ditto-Ashworth and her husband, Tony Ashworth of Nixa; one great-nephew; and two great-nieces.

Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until service time at 3 p.m. Saturday at Ponder Funeral Home in Sikeston. Brad Moore, pastor of Advance First Assembly, and James Figley, lay minister of Trinity Gospel Church, will officiate.

Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Monday in the Garden of Memories Cemetery at Sikeston.
