CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. — Herman Andrew Uelsmann, 71, formerly of Oran, died March 29, 2019, at his home.

Born July 20, 1947, in Illmo, son of the late Arthur and Cyrilla Klipfel Uelsmann, he was a retired accountant for Spartech Plastics in Cape Girardeau. He was also a retired Realtor with Century 21 Ashland Realty in Cape Girardeau. He was of the Catholic belief and served in the U.S. Army and was a Vietnam veteran.

On June 19, 1998, he married Brenda Diane St. Sin, and she survives of the home.

Other survivors include: two sons, Scott (Alison) Uelsmann of St. Louis and Keith (Summer) Uelsmann of Jackson; a stepson, Keith Dillard of Cape Girardeau; two stepdaughters, Karla (Ed) Houseman of Millersville; Kimberly Goodson of Jackson; and 10 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

He was also preceded in death by a sister, Catherine Uelsmann.

Visitation is after 4 p.m. Sunday at the Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Oran. Parish prayers will be at 4 p.m.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday at Guardian Angel Catholic Church in Oran with the Rev. Randy Tochtrop as celebrant.

Burial will be in the Guardian Angel Cemetery at Oran.
