Local residents graduate from basic military training

SAN ANTONIO, Texas — U.S. Air Force Airman 1st Class Levi M. Alsup graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, San Antonio.

The airman completed an intensive, eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills.

Airmen who complete basic training also earn four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force.

Alsup is the son of Annette K. and step-son of Daniel K. Tolbert of Diehlstadt, Mo.

He is a 2016 graduate of Thomas W. Kelly High School in Benton, Mo.

Airmen who complete basic training also earn four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force.

Pope is a 2018 graduate of a home school program in Puxico, Mo.

Achter is a 2018 graduate of Charleston High School in Charleston, Mo.

Freeman is the son of Jeremy R. Freeman and Tracey R. Freeman, both of Dexter, Mo. He is a 2018 graduate of Dexter High School.

Airmen who complete basic training also earn four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force.

Burrell earned distinction as an honor graduate.

Burrell is the daughter of Lona D. Cogdill, stepdaughter of Brandon W. Aycock and sister of Nathan K. Owens of East Prairie, Mo.

She is a 2018 graduate of East Prairie High School in East Prairie.
