Ronald Rister
CHAFFEE, Mo. — Ronald Ralph Rister, 59, died Aug. 27, 2019, at Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
Born Oct. 31, 1959, in Chaffee, son of the late Arlie Otis and Bonita Sue Mantel Rister, he was a retired tow boat engineer for Waxler Towing for many years.
On Aug. 8, 1987, he married Charlotte Curd, and she survives of the home.
Besides his wife, survivors include; one son, Robert Michael Rister of Sikeston; a stepson, Michael (Sarah) Cowell of Chaffee; two stepdaughters, Bonnie (Shannon) Dannenmueller of Scott City and Lori Cowell of Chaffee; one brother, Rusty Rister of Chaffee; one sister, Robin Rister of Chaffee; and seven grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday at the Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee, where services will be at noon Saturday with the Rev. Gwen Streeter and Jim Smiley officiating.
Burial will follow in Union Park Cemetery at Chaffee.
