Bertha Skidgel

MALDEN, Mo. — Bertha Leona “Boots” Skidgel, 85, died Dec. 24, 2019, in Malden.

Born July 8, 1934, in Montana, Ark., daughter of the late William and Eva King Terrill, she was a member of the Church of Christ of Bernie.

In 1970, in Clarksville, Ark., she married Charles Skidgel; he preceded her in death in 2009.        

Survivors include: one sister, Jean Cravens of New Madrid; and three brothers, Max Terrill and David Terrill of Malden and Tommy Terrill of Fayetteville, Ark.

She was preceded in death by one infant son; two brothers, Bob Terrill and Paul Terrill; and two sisters, Bernice Prunty and Catherine Dodson.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield.

Bradshaw Funeral Home in Malden is in charge of arrangements.
