SIKESTON — Mark Fraser, age 29, died Jan. 20, 2020, in Memphis, Tennessee.
He was born July 6, 1990, in Memphis, the son of Julie Carlisle Fraser Young and the late Dennis Fraser.
Mark was a member of First United Methodist Church in Sikeston, a graduate of Sikeston High School and a graduate of Southeast Missouri State University with a bachelor's degree in Communications. He was a recruiting manager for Randstad Staffing and Office Administration.
Along with his passion for music, Mark never met a stranger, he loved spending time with his friends and family. Mark's best friend was his dog, Mondo; they were never far apart. They enjoyed camping and hiking with his best dog friend, Lief, and Lief's mom, Tori Holmes.
He is survived by his mother and stepfather, Julie and Jeff Young of Sikeston; one sister, Morgan (Harrison) Bizzell of Memphis; and his paternal grandfather, Tommy Fraser; stepsister Ashton Young; stepbrother, Colton Young; and his niece and nephew, Sophie and Ellis Cashmer.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Martha Fraser; and his maternal grandparents, James and Marsha Carlisle.
Visitation will be held Friday, Jan. 24 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at First United Methodist Church in Sikeston, where funeral services will be held Saturday, Jan. 25 at 10:30 a.m.
Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery in Sikeston.
Pallbearers will be: Charlie Bohannon, Harrison Bizzell, Colton Young, Gratten Allen, Sam Gleason, Clayton Mayfield, Jeff Nickell, Nick De La Rosa and Bill Rankin.
