A group of 15 Missouri State University students were able to get an up close look at the Super Bowl, working Super Bowl LIV in Miami, Florida. The students are members of the Entertainment Management Association at Missouri State and were chosen to volunteer pre-game activities in the week leading up to the Super Bowl. Included in the group was Sikeston native and Sikeston High School graduate Camden Sapp. Sapp said it was an exciting week of activities, being interviewed and on the “Today” show as well as gaining invaluable insight into the business end of the event and priceless experience towards his future goals. The EMA group will also get to do the same type of events at the NCAA basketball championships in Atlanta in April.
