Dorothy Bryeans

ORAN, Mo. — Dorothy Maxine Bryeans, 94, died Feb. 17, 2020, at Chaffee Nursing Center in Chaffee.

Born June 5, 1925, in Morley, daughter of the late Thomas Jefferson and Myrtle Cruise Jackson, she was a member of Hooe Baptist Church.

On Sept. 26, 1942, she married Harold Emory Bryeans, who preceded her in death on Feb. 23, 1991.

Survivors include: five sons, Harold (Carol) Bryeans of Bloomfield, Missouri, Dwain (Marie) Bryeans, Gaylon (Rosemary) Bryeans, Gary Bryeans and Glennon Bryeans of Oran, Missouri; two sisters, Betty Lenzt of Wappapello, Missouri, and Jan Hillman of Florida; and five grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, three sisters and four grandchildren.

Visitation is from 10 a.m. until service time at noon Thursday at the Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Oran with the Rev. Kenneth Shoemaker officiating.

Burial will be in New Morley Cemetery at Morley, Missouri.
